Javier Sánchez Medina is a craftsman and restorer specialised in crafting mirrors and animal heads, which he has named "ecological/sustainable trophies". Focused on his heritage and the artisanal roots of his family, his work is purely self-taught. Always using natural materials such as bamboo, wicker, rattan and other natural fibres, all his products are made by hand in his small workshop in the Malasaña neighbourhood.

Miguel Angel Camprubí, with his animated codes and simple touches, reinterprets the craftsmanship of Javier Sánchez Medina. He brings his characteristic animal heads to life by creating a character from his own universe full of humour and innocence. Playing with black strokes, the colour yellow, positive shapes and white negative spaces he illustrates a character that exudes strength and ingenuity.
